A game is "a form of play or sport, especially a competitive one played according to rules decided by skill, strength, or luck". Sports are a type of game, often played outside with special equipment and dedicated playing fields. Many sports require teams but some may be played individually. Other popular types of recreational games include board games, card games, dice games, and video games.
