Bookcases Information

Bookcases are pieces of furniture with shelves, often used to hold books, nicknacks, or other ornamentation. They may be of a freestanding nature or built into the wall. Bookcases of the past were often enclosed with doors, although most modern bookcases are not. The earliest domestic example of bookcases were made of oak in 1666.
